Honorable Marvin H. McIntyre
5 | Dear Colonel McIntyre:
6 | I transmit herewith, for your information, a letter I received from Mr. James A. Casey, President of the Vulcan Anthracite Stoker Company and enclosures.
7 | I do not know what type heating equipment the President Intends to use in the house in question, but I do know the Republican leadership is circulating a story that he will use oil. This rumor is hurting the cause of the Democratic Party and its candidates in the vast anthracite region in northeastern Pennsylvania.
8 | Mr. Casey's offer is therefore transmitted through you for such action as the President may care to take.
9 |
Very truly yours, |
