| 3 | Frank Baily's father has requested me to inquire about his welfare. please write me when convenient. Mrs Knestung -?- is doing fairly -- though very poor. Mrs Laswell -?- is doing quite nicely now. Has new piano, -- fine clothing, -- Jewelry has so wasted away her extra money. Has shown some spite toward others of her class. Ported a rather scandalous card on a lady's Horse Block (?) -- Gossiped rather freely. I "came down on her" roughly with good effect -- I think. She is doing fairly now. | |
